    Default Elements, Lightroom, CS ...

I am starting out on digital photography and is looking for a good and affordable software to do PP. Which would be the better choice for an amateur like me?

My friend tells me getting Elements is enough. Yet other ppl tell me to get CS3. To be honest, all are still affordable to me. But i wouldn't want to get something i may not fully utilise.

What are u using and why did u choose it?
