Default Wasps in the mornig..

Here is another view of the nest in the morning.

The grubs are extending themselves out of the nest

2 wasps stand alert while the other one tends to the grubs.

Are these Wasps or Hornets? I thought Wasps lay their youngens inside other insects. Could be wrong though.

They are a type of small paper wasps (Ropalidia sp.).
Not all wasps lay eggs inside other insects, only parasitic species do that.

I have access to super Huge Hornet's nest. Some
nest are as large as a motorcycle.. These can definitely
kill a man many times over.

I can only use a telephoto lens to photograph
them.. as I know they are very dangerous.
Occasionally a Honey Buzzard will be seen
attacking these huge nests for the grubs.

Hornets, Better go far away..

Are there any currently around and active that you are aware of at the moment? As you might have realised from most of my posts, I'm researching these insects and would like to observe and photograph active big nests in Singapore while I'm here. If you know of any active nests, would appreciate if you could give me direction to see any of them. Thanks.
(By the way, your message inbox is full)

Cheers
