Default Feast in the Flowers

Cropped.
I'm not much of a macro-er but my friend let me use his 100mm macro and there were flowers today... so



I think the fly is a bit out of focus - in macro, is it usually required to stop down the lens a lot if wanting to capture something like this?

yes u do need to step down the aperture, but for a shot wide enough like yours u don't have to go all the way down.
