Thread: Sony ImageStation is closing down - what option next?

    Default Sony ImageStation is closing down - what option next?

    Sony ImageStation is closing down and will cease operation in Feb 2008.

    It offers Shutterbug as new home for all affected members to store their photos. Is this new home any good?

    Please comment.

    Google's Picasa Web Album is only free for 1GB storage.
    Extra storage is very expensive:
    * 6GB $20/yr
    * 25GB $75/yr
    * 100GB $250/yr
    * 250GB $500/yr

    Flickr is cheaper. US$24.95/yr for unlimited storage.

    But what about www.Snapfish.com.sg (by HP).

    It has the following Q&A:
    Q: Do you charge for online photo storage?
    A: No. Snapfish offers free, unlimited storage of your online photos - and you can have an unlimited number of albums and photos in your account.

    Is there any catch? Anyone using Snapfish?
