First time posting in this section of the forum here so forgive me if my pics are still quite amateurish

This pic was taken when lights were almost dying out, say 7.15pm. Was out shooting a variety of flowers in my neighbourhood when i saw this half-bloomed sunflower (which was what the pic was). The hairs were shiny from the dying sun's rays and that caught my attention. As it was half-bloomed, I chose the name "reaching out" because it was still continuing to grow and because the petals all were pointing upwards.

How do you think i managed to convey this message across? Any other comments and ideas to include that you think will make this pic a better one?

Many thanks in advance
