Took my camera and went for an evening shoot at Punggol 21 void deck garden .Nothing really factestic about the shots, just trying to capture the silhouette light that falls onto the flora...
#1 ![]() [Spider lily] shot taken using 25mm fixed lens, ISO100 on monopod. #2 ![]() quite disapointed with the double yellow line.. I thought I have increased the aperture large enough to blur off the double yellow line.. but seems like it is still very distracting...might need to go back and re-shot again, quite like this one actually. #3 ![]() flower was orange in color, however, the color seems to be over or under-saturate when I try to adjust the color... very difficult to get the correct color it seems... ended up doing it in black and white instead.. I like photo 2 is bec the plant have diff color shade from the leaves. Re-shooting with the sharp picture will look great. Give a bit more space.

took out my cam and went shooting again in the evening... time is about 5:30pm, but the sun is already blocked by some HDB flats... too bad, can't take much silhouette shots... All shots was taken using Nikon 70-200 lens on EOS-1D camera body.
I hope some birds are out there... maybe I should work on some Photshop... ![]() tough shot... my eyes almost blind..( maybe I should crop a little bit ). ![]() as usuall, the common flowers.. ![]() Last edited by lkkang; 26th September 2007 at 09:47 PM. |

falconite : come come... most welcome.
Redsun : thanks for viewing. Indeed, this is a nice place for nature kind of shots. grass, tall lalangs... rivers, drains, punggol beach etc.. I was staying in Paya Lebar 4 years ago, I could only shoot at stray cats and dogs and HDB flats at that time. Now, I got the sun, the sand and the sea... |

The evening shots look tranquil.
So you couples and families out there, start moving to Punggol 21, there in need of more people. The LRT rail is very dark at night, need to more population to lighten up. ![]() |

hi RedSun n Falconite, I have not "topo" inside the Punggol area alot, nevertheless, there are some very useful information available at the following thread "to punggol with love".
http://forum.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=262904 We might need to do some homework today before we be too "garang" and Cheong into the forest area and ended up getting no where... ![]() |
