If I were to use the tele end of my kit lens which is 70mm..the picture is underexposed.. the distance would be around 4 metres...
however, if the distance was shorten to the subject is 3 metres at 70mm...it became well exposed... using manual mode at 1/4 level or using the built-in diffuser solve the problem though...but why normal bounce without diffuser, the pic became underexposed..ttl inaccuracy? |

i shoot in manual mode...
shutter speed 1/30, aperture f5.6...FEC +1 also seems underexposed.. only solution is putting the WA diffuser or using manual flash mode...surprisingly work...*roll eyes*.. still...a bit strange..like a bug... |

Under normal circumstances the km/sony flash seem to veer a bit on the safe side, tend to under a bit
...from my observant the wide angle disffuser is to be use only in direct mode once u bounce it with the diffuser on , it actually tend blown the highlight ...indirectly it also gave u a feeling of exposed more evenly?.... oth..to tell u the truth........for better consistency, i also shoot in manual nowaday

i don't think it is abit...its very underexposed..will post an image when my batteries are charged...
2ndly, the WA diffuser does not overblown the image..just that it requires quite a heavy flash output... 3rdly, for manual mode, i can't keep changing power level for diff situation..need to be fast and versatile.. ![]() |

only the former is true the latter would depend on the type of lens. telephoto lens + usm is a deadly combination... however if u shoot wide... depending on the backgrd . the accuracy leave much to be desire

My experience with KM flash system is that it is pretty consistent .......... but still lagging a little behind the Darkside.
