Default botanic Assasin

Here is a nice Assasin Bug I came across at the Symphony lake.

I hear some species of this AB will actually ATTACK A HUMAN. I know
someone who was attacked before. This was new to me as I thought
only bees will follow and attack.

Was bitten once - while sleeping! Some species do actually feed on human blood if given a chance. The bugger got me right smack in the vein too. Was very painful - comparable to a hornet sting (the one that bit me is much bigger than this species - an inch or more).

Jeepers!! It bites??? And to think I was chasing some of them some months back trying to get a good shot. Obviously, I failed.

Nice shot though.
