Just like to share one of the overseas weddings, and this one is set in Melbourne. Most of the time, the overseas wedding would involve at least one party (either bride or groom) that's from Singapore; this couple, however, is based in Australia and our correspondence prior to the shoot had been on Skype and email.
#1 - Hair job at Salon. According to the couple and the folks I met at the Salon, hair and makeup are usually done by different person. Unlike our makeup artists here, who basically 'bao' everything. ![]() #2 - Cash, the preferred payment mode for wedding vendor ![]() #3 - My twin sister. Not seeing double, and this is one of my favourite photos in this series, ![]() #4 - Le Groom. Who stays in the same suburb. ![]() |

#05 - More doubles. Groomsmen getting ready.
![]() #06 - Bridal car. Decor on the bridal car is really simple, compared to the ones I've seen in Europe that took at least 2.5 hours to do up. Over here, 2 long ribbons, scotch tapes, bouquet for the front, chop chop 15 minutes job. ![]() #07 - The church. ![]() #08 - ![]() |

#09 - The nerve-calming engagement ring.
![]() #10 - Father of the bride. ![]() #11 - ![]() #12 - Stealing a bite. ![]() |

#17 - Another one of my favourites, and I just love the lighting.
![]() #18 - One of the groomsmen ![]() #19 - Groomsmen's flower (?) [I don't know what they call this] ![]() #20 - When the ring drops... ![]() |

#25 - Father's day present. 2 September happened to be Father's Day in Australia, and this dance is certainly the best present.
![]() #26 - Father's Speech. This has got to be my all-time favourite speech image, that simply speaks for itself. ![]() #27 - Bridesmaid preparing her speech. ![]() #28 - Just cheers. No prolonged yum seng ![]() |

#29 - Garter off. A test of Groom's dexterity in removing the garter, that's worn around the thigh. Oh, with his mouth only, no hands.
![]() #30 - Garter fly. Bouquet gets thrown to the girls. As for the boys, well, garter... ![]() #31 - The lovely couple's first dance. Interesting lighting combo of OHT projector and videoman's tungsten lamp. ![]() #32 - Couple having a little more fun with what they're doing. ![]() Last edited by canturn; 18th September 2007 at 07:44 AM. |

Thanks guys
![]() Lighting overseas is always much nicer, not being biased here. Those flare is real and u can still get quite a full sky even though you're shooting against the sun! |
