haha yeah... i was swimming with the ducks.
No la.. I was at the river bank then i just sat around and waited for the ducks to drift ashore. Was actually afraid that the organizers would stop me but they were very friendly. They even let me know when groups of them come floating down. The yellow duckies really brighten up the photos. |

Hey there, noticed that some of your shots, the subject is out focused and the background is sharp. I used to have the same problem, a tip I used from the holga book, put some trace into back of the camera and point it at a bright area (doing it in the day is alot easier). You should be able to see the image on the trace. Use that to estimate and gauge your focal distance for different sort of objects. It really helps to get sharp focus on subjects. Hope it is useful.
One question I do have is, would you mind sharing what film you used? My problem is that the photos I take turn out looking like what you can get from a normal camera... sigh..... I like your colours....! |

Used Kodak 120 slide film. Can't remember the name properly. Hope it helps.
Yeah. #6 is interesting. I have a single exposure of something similar but the double exposure just gives it the extra kick. |

Yeah that's the problem with Holga..... results not predictable. But well that what some say make it special..... sigh but it's damn boring when after the long wait for developing and printing at the diminishing number of shops that do it. You find out your prints are crap.....
