It has been a long time since I put up images made by pinhole camera. Lately, the Grey Matters B&W photo exhiition has taken up all my time. Glad it's finally over.
Took some tme yesterday night to scan all the 4x5 positive film that I shot on the 8banners 4x5 camera. All the positives are scanned using the Epson Scanner 4990 at 24 bit depth at 9600 dpi reslution. The file is really really huge as it stands at about 1.3 Gb for each film scan. It got it resized downwards and present to all of you the below: ![]() ![]() Both shots were made on a fortnight ago at the Chijmes. They use an exposure of 4-6 seconds and are shot on Fujifilm Provia 100, 4x5 inch positive film. Will be scanning the others tonight...so watch for the rest of the series..... As usual, C&C is welcome. |

I got the Provia film from someone who has some expired stock at abt $15 per box of 10. Waa.....now I know why large format photographers have extraordinary patience. becos ...hor...to load each film is really take skill and patience. Not forgetting that each time u can only get 2 shot in a go with the 4x5 film back. But the slide look damn good at that size. shiok sia!!!
Surprisely the colours of the slides still very accurate leh. I think the person I buy from have keep in in the fridge well. Will try to edit the rest of the 6 shots and post later.....Watch out for it!!!! |
