    Hello to Pre-wedding gurus,

Why not? It's quite a common thing overseas to do outdoor shoot during winter, in fact gowns can be designed for winter weddings.

In fact, I shot a couple in Melbourne during end winter just a few weeks back, 10 degree-c was bearable, even tho she was wearing quite a skimpy gown. But when the wind started to blow, we had to take shelter in the car because the chill just cuts through you.

    Hi,

its gonna be quite a challenge. I have done shoots in winter in both Perth (June) and Paris (earlier this year in Jan). Perth was actually bearable (4-10 degrees) but Paris was -2 to 2 degrees. Even the puddles of water on the ground were frozen.

That said, the Paris bride, brought along a warm winter coat. The groom also had pocket warmers. It will also be a good idea to get the makeup artist to come along to help.

As for yourself, invest in a good pair of gloves. Camera wise, I use the 5D and it didnt freeze up on me during the shoots.

Cheers, good luck and happy shooting. =)
