Excellent E510 Price Now!!!

Wow, I was appalled. Saw the E510 with single kit lens bundle going for less than S$1150 at Best Denki Vivo City. This is a damn good price IMHO. I guess it is expected since the dual lens kit is now in the $1300 range.

Those of you still thinking...now is quite a good time.

Thats a good price with so many new camera along their way to hit the SG port

Looks like DSLR would be more affordable to everyone who were planning to upgrade.

My god thats cheap! Just got back from courts. They are selling the E500 at $1100 and the E330 at $900

At BnS, some are selling second hand E510 at $1150...hmmmm wonder if they know best denki is selling at $1149.

its quite heart pain everytime i read threads showing how much the price has dropped.. lol.. but good on those who have been waitin for a better price =) for the record.. as a new dslr photographer.. i'm proud to be owner of a oly e510 =)

Paid S$1350 with only the kit lens the week 510 came out. maybe you are waiting to pay more for a liveview-ed nikon or canon?

Yeah, but in-between mid-June (when the E-510 was launched here) till now, I've had 10k enjoyable shots with it. That's (S$1350-S$1150)/10000 = 2 cents per shot. Not really a bad trade-off by paying more to get a new model to start using it earlier.

ahhh testaments of the goodness of the e510.. since i've got it i've had 5k+ shots excluding the test shots.. although most of my shots didn't turn out well cuz of my skill level.. lol.. but yea been enjoying my babe.. =)

The one that is (was?) S$1149 is in the glass counter beside the row of DSLRs tethered to tripod heads. The E-510 tethered for display has always been S$1399.
