Default Highlights/shadows equivalent in DPP?

As above... is there something similar in DPP?

If not, would exporting the raw into TIFF for pulling the highlight/shadow data later using PS possible? meaning that I don't lose those extra data in the "lost" shadows highlights in the export process?

I don't think there is an equivalent in DPP, sadly. Can't seem to find one.

Ah... so.

Then that would bring me to the 2nd part. Will RAW -> TIFF conversions result in a loss of data? So I can do the pulling in PS later...
