Is there already one specially on OZ now?
I am reading one now on the red desert at Northern Territories.
I often seen thread usually on NZ as well.

It will be a challenge for me, to bring all the esenstial camera gear into a sturdy back & hop on Tiger Air to Darwin, all light travelling to prevent lugagage surcharge.
Should I do this or go WA for diving for the whaleshark/manta rays/dolphins.
Argh! Too much to do, too little time/money!

The ones that come to mind are:

www.shuttertalk.com has a lot of Australian users, the admin is a nice guy from Melbourne!
    www.overclockers.com.au has a photography forum
    www.dslrusers.net Mostly Australians

Also there's flickr groups such as "Photographers in Perth" etc.
It is the camera, not the photographer.
