Price of EOS 5D with 24-105 lens kit

Haven't been playing with cameras for 1 year, just heard that the above kit can be bought at $4xxx......Is it true? Sounds very attractive.....

Can anyone advise me what is the best price and where can I get it? Thanks in advance.

In July it was in the high 5s ($5600-5800) body was about 4,200-4,500.
Not sure now.

AFAIK, locally the 5D is not sold with any lens, unless it's a Puchase-with-Purchase offer. are u referring to overseas online retailers like bhphotovideo.com?

hehe... for sure, i dun think anyone will consider the 24-105 as a kit lens....

Yes, Canon Singapore do offer 5D Kit with the 24-105 f4L for quite some time already. You can find out from Canon Singapore's website or any of their dealers.

Seems HK price is more attractive. Already less than $5k for the kit since July. Am sure can get it cheaper now.

Before. Seems that everything abt Canon is dropping. Look at the price of the L's. Canon's strategy seems to be trying to push all the price low so that everybody will grap their gears and new equipment. When D300 and D3 are launched, no one will bother to change system cause we are all strapped to their gear.

It seems that Canon is wary of Nikon's new system. Nikon users has been shifting to Canon due to the ISO problem. Since the new Nikon's arsenal is Cmos, imagine the exhilaration of the existing Nikon users.
