Err 01

Hi guys,
I want to use my NIKON 600mm ais lens with CANON eos body.
I bought an adapter with af confirm chip.
It works fine and the af confirm beep is triggered.
(well, the exif become 50mm f/1.4, previously i used the non-chip adapter, the exif is 00mm f/0)

Today i bought a canon 1.4x II. It works well with my canon 200mm.
But when i try to mount the 1.4x on the 600mm (with adapter) and mount the camera on.
When i shoot, i got this error: Err 01 !! I tried to dismount and mount again. Still Err 01 !!
The af comfirm also not working.

Any body know how to over come this ?
i bought the extender just for this nikon lens

It just won't work in this setup.

Try it with the nikon T1x adapter then mount your nikon to canon adapter with the canon body.
