you can try
no one can say for sure, i think, based on what i read expired film just gives whacky effects just use it for more frivolous shots lor and use it fast, if you have more than one roll then maybe you can predict how the others work, i don't know this is coming from a film noob, teehee but since no one reply you, i just reply you =) |

over 10 years.. usually unusable due to heat at sungei road once u take.. go develop the emulsion might MELT and cause the machine breakdown.. lol i develop a 20 years old film b4 not stored under sunshine but at staircase.. the emulsion melted and cause it to stain the machine luckily can clean |

Nevermind, I've used film from 7-12 years old, and the only thing that happens is you lose contrast and color..
Mind you I didn't live in Singapore, so I don't know what the effects of the hot sun will have on the film. Film has a peak and a fall to the chemical activity, this can be slowed down by keeping it in the fridge. However, in the hot sun it can speed it up. So 15 years of hot sun, maybe not usable, but I don't think the machine will have problems with the film. As long as it feeds in.. Adam |
