Nope, they are one of the distributors. I took the updated Kata catalog and Gin studios is one of the distributors with a big shiny sticker, they even went for training in Israel at Kata's HQ.

i saw the bags online.. and they look really nice! esp the interior which is yellow. i like! i think i want to get one that can put laptop as well..

I just went to Gin Studio to see the Kata range of photographic bag.

You can have a look at the Kata products in their showroom, no purchasing of bag.

Gin Studio will bring in the photographic bags while Kontakt will bring in the video bags.

I'm most likely getting 1-2 more bags! I love my Sensitivy V, brought it with me for all my travels because it's well made and very comfortable. Being water resistant helped a lot too when I was riding the wet rides in Disneyland!

They are hard to get? If you meant last week, they had to go for some training, so not in Singapore. They're back and their showroom is full of Kata bags for people to try.

I was in Rochor Center a few days back and decided to pay Gin Studio a visit. I had the R-103 for more than a year now and I'm looking for the K-212 to complement it. Fortunately, Mr Gin and a lady were in. They were so kind to give me a packet drink and show me the many different models they carry. The place is fully loaded with Kata boxes.

Yes, most of the popular models ARE already in. R-101, R-102, R-103, K-212, K-214, W-92, Sensitivity V, Prism U, etc. etc. Now, here's the catch. They will not sell any to you. You have to buy them in the stores.

When is it? As far as I know, the prices are still in limbo rock, discussions are still on-going. A smiling Mr. Gin told me that in early November there's an exhibition (can't remember the name) and they will probably introduce the Kata bags there. Maybe they will tie in a retailer/s to sell the bags to the public.

There is no concrete date when will the Kata bags be available in the local stores.

I think that it's better to order it online for those that needs the bag ASAP.
