Default Blacklisted Retailer

Just wondering should we compile out a list of blacklisted retailer so can allow fellow CSs to aviod them? Seem like one in a while there is someone being cheated by bad retailer.

This type of list is tricky thing and gets political. You will need to have fair and non disputable matrices

You may want to discuss with the moderators first.

People related to the shop will make use of this thread to flame other shop or praise their own. The price list in CS is the best tool you can use, then you can judge by yourself liao. By knowing the street price you won't get chop by those black shop or better still update the price list with the shop name and their selling price

Caveat Emptor. Excercise caution when buying. Even if you have the list, these people will keep changing the shop name. How are you going to track those?

Caveat Emptor or "Let the buyer beware." is a good policy to follow. Nobody puts a gun to buyer's head to force him to buy. One should always do one's homework before buying, whether it is about the product, the price or the shop. CS is a good community to ask questions as there will always be one or two kind souls who will reply. Maintaining a black list is a time bomb as it could lead to CS being sued by the affected party / shop.

i think this is by far the most useful suggestion. there is no one perfect shop - even reputable shops like CP get 'blacklisted' every now and then by disgruntled CSers.

i suggest newbie CSers do a search, like blazer_workz suggested, before making ur decision.

thanks for the suggestion. thread closed.
