Hi,
I would to use a wide-angle lens to take scenery pictures if I go abroad in November. However, I can't afford to buy one now, as I also need to buy a tripod and flash. Would renting a lens be a good idea? If so, any recommendations where I can rent one? Thanks |

For lens rental, go look up Paradigm. He's a reasonable guy and very nice to deal with.
Alternative would be to buy a lens second hand before the trip, then sell when you get back. Even if you sell for $50 less, or even $100 less, it works out to less than $10 a day for a 10 day trip (considering you will have the lens before and after the trip) which is way under the rental costs which range from $15 and above per 24h. |
