Finally, I get the chance to shoot them in digital! The last time I photographed them was in 2000 with a Z-1p. 300mm was a little short but any longer I could not hand hold properly. Now with K10D, 300mm would be like a 450mm but with the camera shake level of 300mm. Plus there is SR!

Why not get a 1.4x teleconverter? Light loss is manageable and you get a little more reach.

Dont hv to. I hv the K10D! {450}mm is good enough. Anyway I nvr like teleconverters.

is there any beach we can go to so as to be closer to the action? I know for safety they will not practise over land, so where can they go? East is out becos of air traffic so that leaves only the south west sea. can anyone working in jurong ship yard area see the aircrafts?
