Default k100D astrophotos and Noise Reduction

Was at Mersing over the weekend,
I was trying my hand at imaging the milkyway.
Tried several combinations before I got this effort.
Its ISO3200, 30 seconds exposure, focus at infinite and AS is off as my camera on tripod.

The difference between noise reduction on and off is when switched on, after shutter. camera took about 15 sec to process the video. But strangely, during this period, the camera makes a sound similar to the AS mechanism even though it is off. This sound not heard when camera in Noise reduction off mode. Anyone can explain or share tips on how to improve on the image?
Thanks!

Use ISO 200. No point using ISO3200.

ISO 3200 will only show a few stars only, and the milky way won't be shown. 30S may be a bit too long, can see a bit of star drift even at this lower resolution, If you have can try on a wide angle prime like 30mm f/1.4 or 28mm f/1.8 like lens, which will allow you to use shorter time and lower ISO.

Thanks guys. I did try several combinations but this one is the most obvious.
ISO200 is impossible for non-tracking imaging. Most people use ISO800 or 1600 but in my case, they came out too dim at 30 sec. This duration was chosen as it is the longest I can set without going to bulb mode. Typically, 30 sec is about the max you can image without star trails but in this case, I only had the kit lens with me because I wanted 18mm wide view. I should have brought the 30 f/1.4 or the Sigma 18-50 F/2.8 instead....sigh,,,,
