Hi,
I went to Cash Converters today and saw alot of Minolta lenses. I wonder which mount in Minolta series (or how u call it) can i use it for my A100? Assuming without buying those converters. Cheers, Jun Kai |

Cash converters do sell some of the older A-mount lenses. As long as there's "Minolta AF" mount (as opposed to Minolta MD), it will fit.
However, seriously, don't buy (or sell!) camera stuff from Cash Converters. |

Yup, I don't really trust Cash Converters. I'll rather get from the B&S here.

Generally, don't get them from cash converters, there is a high chance that you'd end up with just spare parts...

I would suggests that you get some from sony stores. They have some reliable and cheap lens. For instance 75-300mm lens which is fullframe though focal not that good but pictures taken are quite nice. No point getting those second hand lens especially if you are using SLR quality really counts if budget you can get it from CS pple as they are selling good quality lens, since most of them are photographers they will tend to take care of their used lens as compared to cash converters salesman. |

for the rest of us, let's not trash cash converters unless we've actually had bad experiences there. personally i've not bought or sold anything there, only browsed their store, and from what i can see, its not a bad bargain most of the time.

i was once tempted by the cheap prices of the lenses there , but never make it onto my camera . my advise is , don't buy from there . good sellers sell their stuffs here .

after all the negative talk about them, i shd pay them a visit and see the lenses there for myself. i buy from local shops, CS and just about everywhere in the world and so far i haven't come across anything THAT bad. let's see..
