    i mastered my cam rather fast however i spent alot of time looking at how people take photos and see the world in a different view!

    It takes a relatively short time to recognise the features that you commonly use actually. I consider mastering as understanding your camera thoroughly and know how it performs under all circumstances. That's why I have not fully mastered my camera yet, even though I have figured out the positions of most of the buttons and able to change the settings with relative ease. But mastering? Under what situations will your camera underexpose, or overexpose? Under what circumstance do you need to use the preset wb instead of AWB? This takes a lot more than just reading the manual and fondling the camera for 30minutes.
