Default Looking for Adobe Flash CS3 tutorials

    Hi,
I would like to learn to use Adobe Flash CS3. I want to do this during my free time and at my own pace. I am not very good at reading books and experimenting. Are there any good video tutorials on the internet (either free or paid) ? If so, please recommend.

    Many thanks.

I was experimenting with creating a simple slideshow and got stuck with some stuff that appears very basic - like fading one image before loading the next. If any of you Flash gurus can help on that, I will ask here. I seem to be doing the right thing - import an image, convert image to Symbol, set the Alpha (opacity) to .5 in one of the keyframes and setting it to .0 few frames later, while simultaneously loading the next image on a layer above. But for some reason, the transition is rather abrupt. Got frustrated for 4 hours last night before giving up. Read several articles on the internet - all of them talk exactly the same thing as I did, but still I can't get it to work. Decided that I rather take some professional help.

    Thanks, once again.

would like to help but have lost touch with Flash already. Last touched it in school campus lab for a project and forgot it clean. I remember it was damned easy to do.... IIRC, you need to 'tween' the thingy..

Thanks everyone. I got it to work based on the steps in this link.

The only thing different that I did was that I imported one image at a time into a new layer and performed the steps for each image (quite dumb actually). The steps in the article are faster as you execute the same action for all the layers at one go.
