seems like a low profile launch compared to h9. lol. saw it selling at $569 at harvey norman. the design looks like those old cameras, at first i though harvey norman were clearing old stocks.

Dun expect SLR quality... I have come to swear off digicams... the sensor is just too noisy...

expected won't have dslr quality, but there are times for compacts and time for big cameras.

i didn't try it, cos i thought it was the old sony v3. lol.

i see the cam pics on dpreview.. looks so cute... haha but the sony niteshot mode missing izit?

It's basically a "normal" cybershot with a nice big lens. Small and actually quite pocketable.

But if you want high-end features and a good manual mode, you should go for H7 and H9.

That being said, the H3 is a pretty good cam.

Nope, H3 is new.

it was launched during this year's comex show, got it for 549 and an extra battery for 30 bucks. Great camera to play around with.
