Default Its my first time to see this...

I saw this bug or insect last sunday. Its kinda weird to me so I decided to post some pics maybe somebody can help to Identify.

Its so creepy..

BTW this thing flies as well...

Definitely some sort of weevil beetle. Similar to those found in rice. But this guy is huge!

I like the cute face too. Your digital zoom is relatively noise free.

My friend told me that it might be an scarab.. but I doubt it since scarab are bigger. And what attract me most is the suction nose or something very unique.

And I never tought that this thing can fly, yes it fly the moment I touch it the wings are hidden on those round body. Really interesting. The moment I am finished with the shots I let it go, I am afraid that my dog will eat it.

The size of this thing is a littel bit smaller than a regular fly. Not those big flies..

I shot it with +4 Macro Filter at full zoom using 602.
