I think I must have accidentally turned the focussing ring instead of the zoom ring, causing it to be out of focus a little.

Fortunately, it's the background that is more out of focus than the fireworks themselves.

wow....nice shots....i love fireworks, and especially your #3 and #12. gives a more "real" feel to the fireworks. It's like seeing them live.

I'm currently picking up photography and would like to be able to photograph fireworks beautifully like your's one day. haha! any tips?
