Chinese Lion - Penang

A photo of a lion statue at a Chinese temple (can't remember the exact name of the temple) in Penang, Malaysia 2006.

I took this photo in the late afternoon, early evening. I have de-saturated it a bit in Photoshop , and given it a bit of softer look to add some emotion.

I am generally seeking people’s opinion on it, happy for you to be brutally honest and also if the Photoshop effects are subtle and natural or overdone.
