    try different compositions as well as perspective. try wide especially if you're gg for architecture or landscapes. learn the different kind of light metering too which aids you in deciding what to expose for in a photo. read abit on leading lines and rules of the third as well as having a subject of interest in the photo. everyone's still learning, i've got so much to learn in portrait and macro too!
