Picture 1 works to some extend, I think you wanted to project the romantic couple right? But the PP work somewhat changes the mood as if they are at the end of their relationship.. In this aspect, I think the photo should remain at colour but add some vignetting in.
Also, the statue on the left is drawing some distraction away from the couple, and somewhat doesn't blend in the mood... To me personally, the shot is basically well taken, but can re-consider the PP work. Cheers! |

Actually, I kinda like the 'story' with the statue in the pic: loving couple, lonely statue. Kinda boring without it.

thereby drawing attention away from the couple, that is right if it was actually looking at the couple or did not have a nose, it might have worked better i like the second photo! =) |
