sticky B&S thread for 4/3rds?

I remember there used to be a sticky B&S thread in this forum.

It is REALLY REALLY useful as 4/3rd stuff get drowned in the sea of nikon and canon stuff.

Furthermore the search function in clubsnap is VERY buggy.

I CAN'T find the above thread even when I search the B&S lens forum for "olympus".

I am not sure how to look for olympus stuff other than scrolling EACH and EVERY page one by one...

It is so much more convenient if we can have a sticky thread where we can post a short description and LINK the B&S thread so people can at least see the advert.

It'd be good if we can have a thread here speifically for 4/3rds

1) Lenses
2) Flash
3) Camera Bodies

Just the above 3, everthing else remains in B&S.

but i'm thinking out loud.. the problem is how to link them over unless the person selling the items also post on the sticky and they may not know that this sticky exist?

the person selling will have to post on the sticky. not that difficult, just a short description and link.

they will post on the sticky cuz they want to sell their stuff right? I am not lazy to do a search but the fact is that the search function is broken. Unless someone can teach me how to do a proper search.

I used the advanced search menu to look for olympus and the b&s lens forum. The search function missed so many threads.

A subforum perhaps then? Pains me to keep ctrl-f and typing "olympus" or "leica" or whatever every page i click in B&S

Well, a sticky B&S was available before, but was shut down earlier in the year.

Once the search engine is refined (and it will be), then it should not be an issue; just need to be a little patient. The admins are hard at work optimizing the forum.

Better to let the owners do it themselves - we may not know the real status of the item i.e. it may have already been sold but the thread not closed.

I think this issue has been addressed with having a sticky restarted in here for the B&S links. So I am closing this thread. Thanks for the ideas and contributions, and .... ahem... OT...
