Total Lunar Eclipse 28 Aug 07 - my take
Only heard about the lunar eclipse yesterday on the car radio on my way back from work. Decided to give it a shot, but was too lazy to drag out my telescope so I just used my 80-200 with a 2x teleconverter. Results are so-so, but still usable for on screen viewing.
I started shooting at around 2:20 AM, which was already 30 minutes into the eclipse. After the moon moved fully into the earth's shadow, it was getting close to be blocked by the trees in my area, so I took that as an excuse to pack up and go to bed... Here's my catch...first the bright side: 2:25AM  2:30AM  2:35AM

 3:06AM  3:09AM  3:15AM  As the moon got darker and darker it became harder and harder to focus. Also, because of the longer exposure time (3~4 sec) there is a fair bit of motion blurr due to vibration of the camera on the tripod. Hope you like this series, and your comments are welcomed.
