Someone was hungry for Korean food.
![]() It's good to see that they didn't mess it up. It's surprising to me that they seem to have added a built-in flash unit, as it looks as though there is a flip up area. I'm glad to see that the ergonomics look good. I was afraid that they would go with something with all of the buttons in straight lines, which would make it difficult to use in a hurry. I wonder about the articulation of the LCD. Is this similar to the E-330? The attached lens was interesting with the transparent covering. |

That 12-60 is a kit lens, and these are not covers. They are showing the SWD mechanism in the new lens. Last edited by microcosm; 28th August 2007 at 06:24 PM. |

So funny, when opened up, the articulated screen makes it look so much like a Nikon Coolpix 5000 on steroids. Something that I have always wanted the Coolpix 5000 to be... nice one! Those who own the E-3 will love the camera to death!
NatureTTL, this is YOUR CAMERA. You will start shooting in new angles because of the articulated screen... and less back breaking positions trying to get your "models" in place during your "fashion shoot"... |

They made the front shell of the 12-60 lens in clear plastic just to show the SWD motor.

Any idea what's the RRP for this E3 ?
Thought of getting the E1 body from the B & S thread as a second to my E500 since price of the former is dropping pretty fast and low. |

I think that "hump" next to where your right thumb would be is a very nice feature to improve the ergonomics of the grip.

What a lovely picture of Kim Tae Hee and the Olympus E-3
.The E-3 looks big too, bigger than an E-1. Note the external white balance sensor, looks like it'll have great colour .![]() Last edited by K3N; 29th August 2007 at 01:58 AM. Reason: added additional comment |
