I just bought a 20inch ACD to compliment my SR MBP, and I must say that I'm very impressed by the quality of the panel.

I'm using this monitor mainly for photoediting, and to me, it is large enough, as i actually feel abit giddy staring atthe 23incher which was my target initially.

I was toying between a Dell and the ACD, but I guess the deisgn and form won me over.

    Hi Everyone:

May I ask, when I put up some pictures using over head projector, the color displayed is very different from my screen, what should I do?

    Thanks

    Hello

It likely means that you have to profile/calibrate your overhead projector (if it can be profiled) and PC LCD. Cathay sells the EyeOne system but it's expensive. I do know that Cathay provides a LCD and printer calibratin service. I am not sure if they have a projector calibration service. If you are serious about, perhaps you can give them a call?

The Apple monitors are due for a change. The U.S. prices were dropped recently but nothing else happened. There is an event on 5 September and the Paris Expo later in the month, so there will probably be some news on the monitors.

I've heard some horror stories on the Dell monitors, as if they're not first quality but that could just be some Apple fanatics. I read something else about the Eizo monitors having so much better colour depth than Apple's but then, the prices seem unreasonable.

Do share your horror stories about Dell Monitors........after all they are just stories.

    Nothing beats owning them yourself.

Currently I have 1 X 20 inch wide screen for my wife to use. 2 x 24 inch for myself. All 3 monitors is covered with 3 years warranty on site one on one exchange. I have being using the monitors for 2 years plus. So far have not encounter any horror problem.

I am also using both platforms, PC and Mac. Both work super smooth........on both machines.
