Was struggling to calibrate by adjust AF microadjustment on my 300mm with 1.4x extender....think spent about 1 hr to find out the culprit...cos busy adjust the speed of the sensitive AF/ size of AF assist pts/...I'm mixed up the front and back focus adjustment... but nevertheless, the AI servo work like mk2n...

Thanks...1/2500 ~ 1/5000 wide open ISO 250.

if no human error, it has almost 100%...I got at least 95% though as Wakeboard & jetski is predicable.

no offence. but i guess even the older models of 1D can do what you are doing now thou.

i was attracted to this thread because of the mk3, but when i came in. nothing i was looking for. i thought i was some images taken to prove the performance or capablility of this camera.

nice. especially #1 the expression well captured. must be real close. 4 a moment i thought the defocused white bg is part of the wave and was scratching my head how u made it so.

oh i post it just to prove there is no AI servos error (which is mention recently) maybe only human error... maybe u can try to shoot those action coming toward u not shooting sideway which I can get sharp images in one shot mode easily...

Thanks...glad u like it....Yes, I was trying to stand as far as I can before I can capture the whole body wihin the frame on 300mm with 1.3CF body...
