Background too messy, object of interest does not stand out, composition not so right, object abit blur.
just my opinion. |

Sharp pics. A better angle or a tighter crop on the 2nd picture will look nice. I was there too, it was such a hot day!

I am not a good photographer but as a viewer, I can see....you may ask yourself what you want the viewer to see in the photograph...make the object of interest STAND OUT... Saw your reply in Shutt3rbug's thread...did you study his/her photographs, notice any difference between yours and his...by the way, I do not know Shutt3rbug in person. Hi there,
You're at an event with lots of action, colour and people, you can potentially make lots of great pictures here.. but make sure that the pictures you make draw the attention of the viewer. They're many ways to do this; eg. having a compelling subject, cropping your picture etc. and most importantly what I find most useful when taking pictures at such an event is to be as close to the action as possible.. be right in front.. be in the face of the action!
