Hi everybody, i another newbie, there is one part regarding aperture size that i am not too sure in.
For lens with aperture size f4.5-5.6, does it mean that the maximum aperture size we can switch to is f5.6 no matter how big we switch the aperture size in M mode to? Which is to say that even though we turn the aperture size to f11 we are just changing the exposure setting without changing the DoF of f5.6? Could some pros pls enlighten mi??? No it usually means at the longer end of the focal length the max aperture becomes f5.6 instead of f4.5

simply means your max aperture at the wide end is f4.5 and at tele end f5.6..
AOD? DoF you mean.. the lens only stops down to the aperture set when you take a picture.. so whatever you see through the viewfinder is the max aperture, unless you press the DoF preview button.. |
