Default Recommended batteries for Dimage 7i??

Juz wanna seek recommedations for batteries for Dimage 7i.
Any brand that is good?
Where to buy the extended battery pack and how much?

This might be a silly question, is Dimage 7i made in Malaysia? Tot usually cameras are made in Japan etc?

get the Sanyo 2100mAH NiMH rechargeable batteries. They should be good enough to give the 7i some decent battery life.

If I get the Sanyo 2100mAh batteries... do I have to get a separate charger?
Think the charger that comes with the camera only states up to 1850mAh...

wow...i see you got the 7i liao. u should consider getting the Maha Li-Ion batt pack MH-DPB140Li. Sure there will be a little wire dangling from your pouch but it beats at least 3x sets of rechargable batts in terms of power consumption anytime! can order from East Gear. Costs around $90+++

Hi Horus....

Sorry for the low offer.... really couldn't match Ur asking price.... Would have loved to buy the camera from U.....
All the best for Ur sales..... Pity U giving it up.... Think its a really nice camera....

How does the battery pack fit into the camera?
Tot the battery compartment only can accomodate 4AA size batteries?

Anyway... any recommended camera bag for the Dimage 7 series?

The reason why I asked the question in my 1st post is coz my camera is made in Malaysia
Anyway... I juz called up Minolta Singapore to check.... they say they have cameras from Japan and Malaysia..... so I guess at least I din get cheated.....
Actually I bought from someone who claims that he bought it for 2 months only.... hardly used.... But he said he lost his receipt and warranty card.... so there is no verification.... thus I was abit scared when I saw that the camera is made in Malaysia.....
