Question Newbie questions regarding photo printing.

What is a good photo printer right now ? Is Canon i850 good ?
Do I have to change the picture resolution if I am to print a 4R Photo ?
How can I ensured that the printed photo turned out as what is viewed through
my camera or pc (Doesn't turned out too dark/bright/discolored) ? Thanks !

For 4R, it's always cheaper (and better too) to send to the lab.

Use a program like QImage Pro, then you don't need to worry about resizing/cropping/whatever.

i850 is good..heard i950 is best ......
i am biased towards canon..

no , do not need to change resolution if the original resolution is suitable for printing at 4R

very difficult to make what u see on screen appear exactly on paper cos different media altogether...
usually depends on ur monitor and printer calibration...
