D80 | 18-200mm VR in Action @ 朝洲剧 - WA YANG
This is one of Singapore's oldest Chinese performance. Before we have the Phantom of the Opera in Esplanade, we have the 朝洲剧 or Wa Yang. These performances are normally performed in residential estate where the heartlands are....
Young and old will gather around the stage to watch the performance...

Interesting series and theme.
But I don't think it's known as 'Wa Yang' leh, think it's better to known as 'Opera Troupe', though call them the 'sob opera' cause their shows tends to have more cries than cheers. Haha...  |
