Default Windows Vista Slideshow softens your images?

Does anyone experience that it softens or blurs your photos when view as a slideshow in windows vista? I compared to windows xp's slideshow and it seems to be the case. Hmmm... weird.

This also occurs in Mac OS X's preview, which is why I downloaded a separate viewer for my photos.

    YMMV.

Yup agree ...experienced same thing too ... must put disclaimer next time that best viewed with XXXXX ...else friends/clients may assume your photos aren't sharp.

i am not sure about soften part, but different color space could result in fade color. Most web browser and photo processing shop only deal with sRGB. Photoshop CS and lightroom can handle proRGB, adobeRGB and sRGB. it is recommended to use sRGB when posting on web and send to print.
