Assuming you bought the camera new from a shop. It should come with a CD with an application called Olympus Master. Install this program, it will allow you to open and convert .ORF (RAW) files.

How about reading the manual or doing some search before posting a question?

I should have explained my situation clearer.
I am at overseas and I do not have access to my Master CD. What should I do? Is there any software on the web which I could download for me to convert 20 pics by today? Thanks ![]() |

Just download and install Raw Shooter Essential. It's free and it can be used to edit & convert your RAW files to JPG.

Raw Shooter has long ago been bought over by Adobe and incorporated into Lightroom. The free version of Raw Shooter Essential has not been updated for a long time and will obviously not support such new cameras like E-410 and E-510.
The TS should download Olympus Master 2 instead. It is available here: http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/205_16999.htm

Hope my reply is not too late.
Actually, the camera itself is the best converter, and it's with you now.. All you need to do is to set your preference, Picture mode, vivid... etc... jpeg resolution HQ, SQ.... Then goto the Edit menu and edit the RAW photo, the JPEG file will be created. |

You can do in-camera conversion from ORF to JPEG as long as the raw files are in the original DCIM/xxxxx folder. The camera will generate another copy in JPEG format.
