a roll from kodak..
does it say color slides on the canister?
or Process CR-56 or E-6?

if not it should be negative...
**Process CN-16, C-41*

*note: CR-56,E-6,CN-16,C-41 are the chemical used to develop the films..*

so when u develop a color slides..
normally ppl use CR-56 or E-6, *Fotohub, Colorlab do colorslides processing*

and when you develop a negative film.
they use CN-16 or C-41,

when ppl mention about cross process..
it usually means..
taking a color slide film and develop using negative chemicals, CN-16, C-41
*TripleD, Miao Laan, Kiam Tian, FotoHub, Colorlab and more...*
or..
taking a negative film and develop using color slides chemicals
*NO LABS will do this.. cuz due to the emulsion of the negative films will contaminate the chemicals, and they have to throw away the chemicals*

TripleD located at Burlington Square *next to Sim Lim*
3 dollar develop for negative
and 5 dollar for scanning into CD
5 dollar for develop for color slides *cross process*
*possible for 1-2 hours turn around if not busy*
open 7 days a week

Kim Tian located at Hong Lim Complex.
10 dollar for color slides *cross process and scanning to CD*
never tried their negative processing b4
takes at least 1 day
open monday- saturday

ColorLab located at Adephi
*never tried their processing b4 but printed some picture with them..
turn around time quite ok*

Miao Laan is out of the way for me *all the way at Bukit Batok*

color slides are...

i am not sure if you got these before
those old old days..
when you go to a funfair or something
someone took a picture of you
then after that sell you the plastic thingy containing a FILM inside
where u put it against a light to see... and YET it comes with color?
that's color slides.. cuz negative don't have colors one.*well they do actually*

or.. those slides that they put in projector
and shoot it against the wall.. of a holiday..
like a movie screening one

those are color slides..
it is exactly like negative film with .. FULL technicolor on it
