Default Metz SCA 3202 Flash adaptor

Hi, am looking for this adaptor for my 54 MZ-4 to be used on my L1 and was wondering anyone knows the price either new or used. Metz is totally new to me

Problem with getting the SCA adapter used is you might end up with an older version that won't work properly with your camera, or it won't give you all the features the current version is capable of...you want the M5 version of the SCA3202.

Also, unless you already have the 54 MZ-4 you may want to select another flash as the website says there's no TTL control of this flash with this combination of adapter and camera. You can look for yourself at:

Thank you Mike for the pointers. Checked the site and it doesn't support TTL .. guess I'll consigned it back to my Nikon bodies.

Cheers

It is available at K1 at Peninsula. Get the lastest shoe, i believe m5 is the latest one for more compatiblity.

My advise is not to get the older one even if someone offer at a lower price.

Thanks for the advice! Even the M5 doesn't support TTL with my 54 MZ-4 but am still considering as it can handle the zoom automatically and also on auto which I think I can survive without the TTL.

I would not too concern with TTL. I have never used it for the last 2 years since I got my E300. Auto works just fine.

I second that... before I got my FLs, I was using a Nikon SB28DX on Auto and all the shots turned out pretty darn good!

Likewise was using a SB22s with FZ20 for my China trip as well as photographing kids in a classroom with bounce. Pictures were very nice short of a little under exposed. However its quite inconvenient and has to be mindful of the settings when I'm using bounce or during event shoot .. maybe its just me .. slow of mind and fingers. I have a very new FL36 which gives me all the conveniences BUT slow recycling kills me when I need to pump shots. Probably will test the L1 with my SB800 tomorrow and see the results .. fingers crossed!
