Wound up here after getting lost in Marina South and found it to be a pretty nice place for dinner or to just chill out in general. I liked the lighting of the place and tried to capture it as the light faded, but I didn't quite like the way the lighting was rendered in the final product. Hope the rest of the composition was at least ok.

personally i think its very well done, was it done with a GND? Perhaps it would be better if one is fitted on.

No it wasn't done with a GND. I think with a GND the blue at the top would have been too strong so I opted not to use one.

a tighter crop to remove the excess space at the bottom pic will be nicer.
If you first look, ppl tends to view at the excess space... Where's this place exactly and called? Nice food? |

Hmm, actually I kinda like the grass portion. It's called Marina South Pier. I didn't try the food though cos the place looked quite expensive. My NSF pockets probably wouldn't be too happy.

Wow I really didn't notice it. Guess cos it was the same colour as the general scene, thanks for pointing it out. Will be more careful in future.

Not really, Actually wanted to go to marina bay park but my topo skills are not that good so ended up here. Try typing marina south pier in streetdirectory.com and you'll be able to get the exact address.

Composition and colors are nice. You have chosen a good timing of the day to shoot this esp the blue hue in the sky with the lighting in the restaurant.
One minor detail though... not sure if it is intentional but the blurred out table cloth due to the strong winds and long exposure is a distraction to me.
