Easiest is to get heat sleeve?

4 tiny heat sleeve and 1 slightly bigger sleeve to cover them up.

shrinkable tubes ar... but must either solder the cables or twist them properly.

quite simple lah, but abit ugly, like my self made connector for my 322RC2 to minolta trigger.

like what dominator say, but lucky thing i have tinning solder pot, so i stripped a longer area, put in 4 small tubes, then twist & tin, then heat shrink each of it, then use a bigger black one to cover up everything.

yah man.. that was my first reaction when I first saw the pics..

speaker hospital might turn you away cos they dun like to do 'low end' stuff. Though the place look run down, they have their pride to do only stuff 'worth their time and your money"

Perhaps u could try LHS at Sim Lim Tower 2nd level. They specialise in customising cables and termination. Of course, u hv to pay a small fee lah.

Maybe if it's feasible, a more drastic action would be to recable the entire earpiece from scratch (instead of trying to join back the split end).

But that's a wild guess on my side though.

    DIY ?

    You need
    - a pair of wire cutter
    - cord cover (ensure the correct size)
    - soldering iron
    - solder
    - hair dyer

    1. Strip both the wires end using wire cutter
    2. Insert the cord cover into the wire cord
    3. Solder the wires together (same color wires solder together)
    4. Cover the exposed wires with cord cover
    5. Use the hair dyer to blow on the cord cover
