And - the K10D LE is quite freely available. I saw a copy on display in an FNAC:
which also appeared to sell more pentax lenses than nikon/canon lenses combined (lenses were kinda expensive though). The best price available for the K10D LE was from (i think) the sim lim equivalent, near the taipei railway station, for about NT37000. Assuming an exchange rate of NT 21=SGD 1, and after getting back the 5% tax, it's about SGD 1700. Prices weren't much better than in SGD (the K10D body only was a similar price). The 16-50, alas, was not available, else I might have shots from it up ![]() |

K10D GP for 37000 TWD, that's about SGD17xx. We'll see the camera here next week, probably around the same price
Thanks for the info btw. I'm sure you had a great time there. I got my FA31 in Taipei when I was there nearly 2 years back ![]() |

Last year I was walking around the Bo Ai rd in Taipei. The number of Da ltds and FA ltds were quite impressive. Almost all the stores seem to have stock!
