That's why I still use CF. Bigger in size, thus easier to spot.

You might have subconsciously kept it somewhere but dont remember as you were occupied with the accident that happened.
Try to recall where you might place it under those circumstances and look for it again..
where did you take your other card from? a bag or a holder?
look there as normal you would take one out just about to replace it.
hope you find it.
if not just take it as a lession learnt and carry on taking photo.
17 & 18 Aug would be a chance to make up for it.

Check your clothes pockets? Sometimes it may be possible you put inside one of ur pockets w/o realizing it.

Personally I think its always good habit to do a thorough check of the area just before you leave it after your shoot.

Last time i went to europe they made me put my camera through the scanning machine, when the camera came out, card corrupted -_- it sux more when u know there is no more hope and you know the damage was unnecessary >.<
